Job description

I am current recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a small company focused on providing clinical and pathology lab systems, as a field-based Product Installation & Support Specialist, responsible for the installation, configuration, and support or their product portfolio for their customers in the UK.

The successful candidate will be tasked with the following:

  • Identify customer product requirements to support configuration
  • Attend customer sites to complete software installation and configuration
  • Support customers with go-live of products
  • Prepare and delivery product training materials and presentations
  • Manage customer post-product installation via regular visits
  • Provide technical support both remotely and on-site as required
  • Support sales team at trade shows and with on-site products demos

Experience required:

  • Knowledge of pathology and healthcare IT applications pertaining to the laboratory (LIMS, middleware, analysers)
  • Experience in the installation and maintenance of lab IT solutions
  • Experience in creating and delivering IT training modules (beneficial)
  • Ability to travel up to 80% in support of customers
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to quickly (and occasionally remotely) diagnose and resolve customer issues.
