Job description

I have an urgent requirement for an experienced LIMS Project Manager to work on a high profile LIMS project as part of the Test & Trace programme.

 

The role is a minimum of 6 months and can be mostly remote with travel to Leamington Spa 2/4 times a month.

 

The role is inside IR-35 and has a generous daily rate.

 

The Sequencing LIMS Project Manager will:

 

  • Work closely with and direct the LIMS delivery team, including systems analysts, solution architect and system and integration test team.
  • Work closely with the IT Infrastructure Project Manager provisioning IT equipment and network solutions.
  • Build relationships and work closely with instrument and software vendors, laboratory process design team, data science team, laboratory quality and compliance team, and wider T&T systems owners to ensure dependencies are proactively managed with these workstreams and a broad range of requirements are met for these stakeholders.
  • Lead on the relationship with LIMS software vendor, ensuring a robust approach to the capture and prioritisation of requirements, and planning of software release in an integrated environment.
  • Ensure the project delivers high quality outputs, both in terms of solutions which meet functional and non-functional requirements and high-quality project artefacts which align to the project life cycle.
