EPR Project Manager

Position Overview:
As the EPR Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful implementation of an Electronic Patient Record system across various departments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the project's alignment with business objectives and successful integration into operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the EPR system, including project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to understand their requirements and ensure the EPR system meets the needs of different business units.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the selection and integration of third-party solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct regular status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth adoption of the new system across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards throughout the implementation process.
Qualifications:
  • relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing EPR implementation projects within a the NHS.
  • Strong understanding of EPR systems, their functionalities, and best practices in implementation.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
