Epic Project Manager

As the Epic Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the planning, execution, and successful implementation of the Epic EHR system. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled project manager with a strong background in healthcare IT to contribute to the advancement of our organisation and enhance the quality of care we provide to our patients.

Epic Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for the Epic implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and administrative departments, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  2. Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the Epic implementation project.
    • Communicate project status, milestones, and potential risks to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate a diverse project team, fostering collaboration and ensuring each team member understands their role and responsibilities.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to overcome challenges and ensure project success.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the Epic system meets organisational requirements and industry standards.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Epic implementation, making adjustments as needed.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to address issues that may impact the project timeline or outcomes.
    • Work closely with the project team to address and resolve issues promptly.


  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in healthcare IT, specifically with Epic EHR implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Epic software and the overall EHR landscape.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
