Position Overview:

As the RiO Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the RiO system upgrade and optimization project. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the seamless transition and efficient functioning of the RiO electronic patient record system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan outlining tasks, timelines, and milestones.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  2. RiO System Upgrade:
    • Lead the upgrade process for the RiO electronic patient record system, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
    • Collaborate with IT professionals and vendors to execute the upgrade seamlessly.
  3. Optimisation Strategies:
    • Identify opportunities for system optimisation and performance improvement.
    • Implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the RiO system.
  4. Stakeholder Management:
    • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, including clinicians, IT staff, and administrators, to provide updates and address concerns.
    • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the implementation process.
  6. Training and Support:
    • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the upgraded RiO system.
    • Provide ongoing support to users and address any issues that may arise during and after the implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in the implementation of RiO electronic patient record systems.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of the RiO system and prior experience with RiO upgrades.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address challenges during the upgrade process.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT and electronic patient record systems.
