SystmOne Specialist

The SystmOne Training Lead will play a pivotal role in the National Health Service (NHS) by leading and coordinating the training efforts related to the SystmOne electronic health record system. This role is critical in ensuring that healthcare professionals across the NHS can effectively utilize SystmOne to improve patient care and streamline administrative processes. The Training Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs, managing a team of trainers, and monitoring the overall effectiveness of the training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Training Program Development:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and goals.
    • Develop comprehensive training programs and materials for SystmOne users, including healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and support personnel.
    • Ensure training programs align with NHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
  2. Training Delivery:
    • Lead training sessions, workshops, and seminars for NHS staff.
    • Utilize various training methods, including in-person, virtual, and self-paced learning, to accommodate diverse learning styles.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and adjust content as needed.
  3. Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of trainers and instructional designers.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  4. Training Documentation:
    • Create and maintain training manuals, guides, and documentation.
    • Ensure that training materials are up-to-date with system updates and changes.
  5. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with data protection and patient confidentiality regulations.
    • Generate and present training reports to NHS management.
  6. Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with IT teams, SystmOne vendors, and NHS departments to resolve technical issues and optimize system functionality.
    • Work closely with change management teams to facilitate a smooth transition to SystmOne.
  • Previous experience in healthcare training and education, preferably with SystmOne or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Strong knowledge of NHS policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in instructional design and training program development.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data security and patient confidentiality regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in training and development.
  • Experience with electronic health record system implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and tools.
