Being specialist recruiters, we are skilled at connecting experts together. Operating in niche healthcare markets, we offer our clients expertise, unparalleled market knowledge, and honest requirement feedback (with alternative solutions). Hear from IT Infrastructure Specialist Kieran Kearns about how he worked with the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundations Trust to successfully deliver on their IT Support recruitment requirements...

Requirements

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundations Trust required additional staffing support for their IT Support project. The project demanded a range of various skill sets, at multiple levels, to be able to complete a full Office 365 rollout across 2 different branches within the Trust. Overall, the implementation project would run over the course of 1-2 years and aimed at improving care delivery through technology.

This was a massive project for the Trust that involved replacing older systems with new technologies, upgrading software, and getting Office 365 up and running at their two sites. Care delivery would be transformed by improvements made to internal communications, systems, and administrative workflows.

IT systems play a vital role in healthcare delivery. For the Trust, a project such as this one, that regulates communications, can help to improve the effectiveness of clinical and administrative processes. Even saving 20 seconds per patient, over the course of a year, buys them back time to deliver a more efficient service for patients and staff.
