EPR Change Manager

As the EPR Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation and optimisation of our electronic patient record system. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions, efficient workflows, and effective change management strategies. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare operations.

EPR Change Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of EPR system changes, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, clinical staff, administrators, and external vendors to identify requirements and implement solutions.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to minimise resistance and maximise adoption of EPR system changes.
  • Conduct impact assessments and risk analyses to anticipate potential challenges and mitigate adverse effects on patient care.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure proficiency in utilising EPR system functionalities.
  • Monitor system performance, user feedback, and key performance indicators to continuously improve EPR system effectiveness and usability.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to electronic patient record management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in implementing and managing electronic patient record systems within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies and techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards related to electronic patient record management.
