Epic Configuration Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Epic Configuration Analyst to play a crucial role in the implementation, optimisation, and support of the Epic system. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to analyse business processes, configure Epic modules, and ensure the system meets the organisation's needs. Epic Configuration Analyst Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with end-users, stakeholders, and other IT professionals to understand business requirements and workflow processes.
  2. Configure and customise Epic modules to meet organisational needs, ensuring optimal system performance.
  3. Analyse and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring minimal disruptions to operations.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system enhancements, updates, and optimisations.
  5. Stay current with Epic software updates and industry best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance system functionality.
  6. Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in utilising Epic features and functionality.
  7. Participate in system testing, validation, and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the Epic system.
  8. Document configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Health Informatics, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Epic system configuration and support.
  3. Epic certification in one or more modules is highly preferred.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Knowledge of healthcare operations and workflow processes.
  8. Experience with project management and implementation methodologies.
