Epic Project Manager

As the Epic Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the planning, execution, and successful implementation of the Epic EHR system. Epic Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for the Epic implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and administrative departments, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  2. Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the Epic implementation project.
    • Communicate project status, milestones, and potential risks to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate a diverse project team, fostering collaboration and ensuring each team member understands their role and responsibilities.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to overcome challenges and ensure project success.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the Epic system meets organisational requirements and industry standards.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Epic implementation, making adjustments as needed.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to address issues that may impact the project timeline or outcomes.
    • Work closely with the project team to address and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in healthcare IT, specifically with Epic EHR implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Epic software and the overall EHR landscape.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
