We are looking for a skilled Epic Test Analyst who will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation, integration, and optimisation of the Epic electronic patient record (EPR) system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Epic testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and a deep understanding of healthcare operations.
Epic Test Analyst Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document Epic system requirements.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for Epic modules, ensuring coverage of all relevant functionalities.
- Execute test cases and conduct thorough testing of Epic system components, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify and report defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with end-users to validate system functionality and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Stay current on Epic software updates and new features to ensure testing processes align with the latest advancements.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of automated testing scripts to enhance efficiency.
- Provide training and support to end-users during testing phases.
Qualifications
- Epic certification in relevant modules (e.g., Ambulatory, Inpatient, Orders) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst in Epic implementations, with a deep understanding of Epic workflows and functionality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with testing tools and methodologies in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.
