NerveCentre Configuration Analyst Job Description

Role Overview: The Remote Configuration Specialist will play a critical role in the implementation of NerveCentre. This individual will be responsible for configuring and customising the NerveCentre platform to meet the specific needs and workflows of our organisation, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilisation of the system.

Key Responsibilities

  1. System Configuration: Configure and customise the NerveCentre platform according to the organisation's requirements, including workflows, user roles, notifications, escalation protocols, and data fields.

  2. Data Migration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate the migration of data from legacy systems to NerveCentre, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data.

  3. Integration Management: Coordinate the integration of NerveCentre with other healthcare systems and applications, such as electronic health records (EHR), patient management systems, and communication tools, to enable seamless interoperability and data exchange.

  4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of the NerveCentre system, identify and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

  5. User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on the use of NerveCentre, including system functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques, to promote adoption and proficiency among staff members.

  6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides, and actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions to transfer expertise to other team members.

  7. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, IT professionals, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of NerveCentre implementation activities with project timelines, budgets, and objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in configuring and implementing NerveCentre or similar clinical communication and task management systems within healthcare organisations.
  • In-depth knowledge of NerveCentre functionality, architecture, and configuration tools, with the ability to customise the system to meet specific organisational requirements.
  • Strong technical proficiency, including experience with database management, HL7 interfaces, and integration protocols (e.g., FHIR), to facilitate system integration and data exchange.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and deliver training sessions remotely.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in healthcare IT, project management, or NerveCentre administration preferred.
