Salary is between £30,000-£32,000 p/a.
PACS Administrator Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Ensure seamless operation and accessibility of medical images.
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot PACS software and hardware.
- Collaborate with clinicians, IT professionals for system upgrades.
- Implement enhancements to improve efficiency, patient care.
Skills
- Proficient in PACS administration with experience in healthcare IT environments.
- Strong technical skills in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting PACS system.
- Demonstrated ability to implement system upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with clinicians and IT professionals.
- Proactive problem-solving approach with the capability to address issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications in PACS administration or healthcare IT (highly desirable).
