This Trust are looking for a skilled PACS Administrator to help them manage their PACS system to optimise their clinical workflow.
Salary is between £30,000-£32,000 p/a.

PACS Administrator Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Ensure seamless operation and accessibility of medical images.
  • Configure, maintain, troubleshoot PACS software and hardware.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, IT professionals for system upgrades.
  • Implement enhancements to improve efficiency, patient care.


  • Proficient in PACS administration with experience in healthcare IT environments.
  • Strong technical skills in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting PACS system.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement system upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with clinicians and IT professionals.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with the capability to address issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in PACS administration or healthcare IT (highly desirable).
