Company Overview: We are partnering with a prominent NHS Trust based in the Midlands region. Our client is embarking on a crucial project to optimise their RiO Electronic Patient Record (EPR) System to the latest version. To support this initiative, we are seeking a skilled RiO Configuration Analyst to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview: As a RiO Configuration Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the optimisation project of the RiO EPR System to its latest version. You will be responsible for configuring and customising the RiO system to align with the specific needs and requirements of the NHS Trust. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on healthcare delivery and patient care within the Midlands community.

RiO Configuration Analyst Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for the RiO EPR System optimisation project.
  2. Configure and customise the RiO system to meet the unique needs and workflows of the NHS Trust, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  3. Conduct thorough testing and validation of RiO configurations to ensure system functionality, performance, and data integrity.
  4. Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to resolve any configuration-related issues or challenges.
  5. Provide guidance and support to end-users on utilising the optimized RiO system effectively, including training and documentation as needed.
  6. Document all configuration changes and updates in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
  7. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of RiO with other healthcare systems and technologies.
  8. Stay updated on the latest developments and updates in RiO configuration and healthcare IT to continuously improve system performance and usability.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in configuring and customising RiO or similar EPR systems within the healthcare sector, preferably within an NHS setting.
  3. In-depth knowledge of RiO functionalities, modules, and configuration options.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  5. Experience with system testing and validation, ensuring accuracy and reliability of configurations.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and system security.
  8. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Certification or training in RiO configuration or related healthcare IT systems.
  2. Experience with RiO optimisation projects or system upgrades.
  3. Knowledge of NHS standards, policies, and procedures related to EPR systems.
  4. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
