Data Architect

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native data platforms aligned to capability-based design principles. This role will shape modern data architecture to support analytics, operational reporting and enterprise data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and optimise data platforms using Postgres Aurora

• Design lakehouse solutions leveraging Iceberg

• Build and manage data pipelines using AWS Glue Jobs and Spark

• Develop scalable data processing solutions in Python

• Enable federated querying and distributed analytics using Trino

• Apply capability-based design to structure data domains and platform services

• Define best practice for data modelling, performance optimisation and governance

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Postgres Aurora

• Proven delivery of Iceberg-based data lake architectures

• Expertise in Glue Jobs, Spark and Python

• Experience implementing Trino for distributed query access
