Senior Digital Nurse

The EPMA Senior Digital Nurse will be a key leader in advancing digital health initiatives within our organisation. This role combines clinical expertise with digital innovation to support the implementation, optimisation, and management of electronic prescribing and medicines administration systems. The Senior Digital Nurse will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient safety, improve clinical workflows, and drive the adoption of digital health solutions.

Senior Digital Nurse Key Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic leadership in the implementation and ongoing development of EPMA systems.
    • Collaborate with the CNIO, IT, pharmacy, and clinical teams to align digital health initiatives with organisational goals.
    • Advocate for the integration of digital health technologies to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
    • Lead and manage EPMA projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments, and status reports.
    • Serve as a clinical champion for EPMA, promoting its benefits and encouraging user adoption.
    • Provide clinical expertise to inform system design, configuration, and workflow integration.
    • Conduct user training and support to ensure effective utilization of EPMA systems.
    • Monitor and evaluate the impact of EPMA on clinical practice and patient outcomes.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work with teams to implement changes.
    • Develop and analyse performance metrics to measure the success of EPMA initiatives.
    • Foster strong relationships with clinical staff, IT professionals, and external vendors.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to support EPMA goals.
    • Represent the nursing perspective in digital health committees and forums.
    • Ensure EPMA systems comply with regulatory requirements and best practices.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
    • Participate in audits and inspections related to digital health systems.
    • A strong background in digital nursing
