LIMS Transformation Change Lead – Global Programme

We are seeking an experienced LIMS Transformation Change Lead to drive a global laboratory transformation programme spanning multiple subsidiaries. This permanent role will focus on the harmonisation, adoption, and optimisation of LIMS platforms across international laboratories, ensuring alignment, standardisation, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will act as a strategic change leader, guiding subsidiaries through transformation, engaging stakeholders at all levels, and enabling seamless adoption across a complex, global enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Global Change Leadership

Lead change management and adoption strategies across multiple subsidiaries implementing or upgrading LIMS platforms.

Develop a global roadmap for LIMS adoption, ensuring consistency in processes, governance, and user engagement.

Serve as the primary liaison between programme leadership, IT, and laboratory operations across all regions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

Engage senior leadership in multiple countries to align priorities, expectations, and outcomes.

Facilitate global workshops, steering committees, and cross-functional working groups.

Ensure stakeholders at all levels understand programme objectives, benefits, and their role in adoption.
Process Standardisation & Transformation

Drive standardised laboratory workflows aligned to LIMS capabilities across all subsidiaries.

Support the creation and rollout of global SOPs, governance models, and best practice guidelines.

Monitor local variations and ensure alignment to regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements.
Training & Adoption

Design and implement training and enablement programmes for global teams.

Support local champions and super-users to embed best practices.

Track adoption metrics and implement interventions where necessary to drive consistent uptake.
Programme Support & Integration

Collaborate with vendors, system integrators, and IT teams to ensure technical and process alignment.

Identify risks to global adoption and create mitigation strategies.

Ensure programme milestones, timelines, and benefits realisation are achieved across subsidiaries.
Key Skills & Experience

Extensive experience in leading change for global LIMS transformations across multiple sites or subsidiaries.

Deep understanding of LIMS platforms (e.g., LabWare LIMS, STARLIMS, LabVantage, or similar).

Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders in multiple regions.

Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, QC processes, and regulated environments (GxP, ISO 15189, CAP).

Experience in system integration and cross-functional change initiatives.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and workshop leadership skills.
Desirable:

Change management certifications (PROSCI, APMG, or equivalent).

Experience with multi-country LIMS harmonisation or global system upgrades.
