Are you an experienced EPR E-Learning Developer with a passion for creating engaging digital training that supports successful system adoption?
I'm currently supporting an NHS organisation preparing for a major EPR programme and they're looking for an experienced contractor to design and develop high-quality e-learning content that will help thousands of end users confidently adopt their new system.
As the EPR E-Learning Developer, you'll work closely with Training Leads, Clinical SMEs and Digital Teams to produce engaging, accessible learning content for a large-scale EPR implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive EPR e-learning packages.
- Create engaging digital learning content using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360 or Adobe Captivate.
- Convert classroom-based training into effective online learning modules.
- Produce video tutorials, simulations, walkthroughs and knowledge assessments.
- Work alongside clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure content reflects system workflows.
- Ensure learning content meets NHS accessibility standards and best practice.
- Update and maintain training materials throughout implementation and optimisation phases.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of learning content where required.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience developing e-learning for an NHS EPR implementation.
- Strong knowledge of digital learning principles and instructional design.
- Experience using Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate or similar tools.
- Experience creating simulations, interactive assessments and multimedia learning content.
- Ability to translate complex clinical workflows into simple, engaging learning experiences.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working within large digital transformation programmes.
Desirable
- Experience with Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), RiO, SystmOne, MEDITECH or Nervecentre.
- Knowledge of NHS clinical workflows.
- Learning Management System (LMS) administration experience.
- Experience supporting go-live and optimisation phases of EPR programmes.
