The full IT Works Health team will be at Digital Health Rewired 2026 on 24th March at the NEC in Birmingham. Rewired has become a key moment in the calendar for stepping out of day-to-day to hear directly from the leaders shaping digital transformation across health and care, and this year’s programme is one of the richest yet.
The full agenda features more than 300 speakers across 100+ sessions and covers everything from digital leadership and EPR implementation to AI, data strategies and frontline innovation.
We’re especially looking forward to insights from Professor Ben Goldacre (Director, Bennett Institute for Applied Data Science) and Dr Jennifer Dixon DBE (CEO, The Health Foundation) on evidence-informed approaches to data and transformation, as well as contributions from Dr Indra Joshi Chief Development Officer, Optum UK) on enabling sustainable digital change at scale.
Senior NHS leaders including Siobhan Harrington (CEO, University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust) and Professor Alastair Denniston (University of Birmingham & University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust) will share frontline perspectives on what’s working well in EPR programmes and where delivery pressures remain.
There are also sessions featuring national clinical leaders such as Dr Alec Price-Forbes (National CCIO, NHS England) and Helen Balsdon (National CNIO, NHS England) that we’re eager to hear - particularly in relation to workforce planning, clinical engagement and benefits realisation in major digital programmes.
Beyond UK practice, internationally informed voices like Dr Jessica Morley (Digital Ethics Centre, Yale University) will add valuable perspective on ethics, governance and AI integration – areas that matter when decisions about data and innovation are so closely tied to patient experience and safety.
The breadth of the programme reflects the complexity of digital change in health and care, and we’re keen to connect with peers across NHS, care provider, clinical and tech communities to share learning about where transformation is delivering real value and where additional focus and resource planning is needed going into the next 12–24 months.
If you’re planning to be at #Rewired26, we’d love to catch up in person and continue these conversations – whether that’s around digital strategy, workforce challenges or what good delivery looks like in practice. Stay tuned for updates from the team, and get in touch if you’d like to arrange a time to meet while we’re there.
