RiO Communications Lead

The RiO Communications Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing all communication activities related to the RiO data migration project. This role requires a strategic communicator with a strong understanding of data migration processes, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the RiO system.

RiO Communications Lead Responsibilities

• • Identify and engage with key stakeholders involved in the RiO data migration project.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to ensure stakeholder alignment and support.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for the RiO migration project.
  • Ensure consistent and clear messaging across all communication channels.
  • Create communication plans that outline key messages, delivery methods, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Data Migration Project Manager to ensure that communication activities are integrated into the overall project plan.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to understand project milestones, challenges, and requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on the communication strategy and its progress to the project team.
  • Develop and disseminate project-related communication materials such as newsletters, emails, reports, and presentations.
  • Create training materials and user guides to assist staff in understanding and using the new RiO system.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, relevant, and accessible to the target audience.
  • Support the change management process by communicating the benefits and impact of the RiO system to staff and stakeholders.
  • Address resistance and manage expectations through effective communication strategies.
  • Develop feedback mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and make improvements as needed.
  • Identify potential communication risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address and resolve communication-related issues promptly to prevent project delays.
  • Escalate critical issues to the Data Migration Project Manager as necessary.
