LAN Project Manager

NHS Experience Essential

We are seeking an experienced Network Project Manager to lead and deliver a LAN Refresh project within an NHS environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical and corporate services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of a LAN Refresh programme across NHS sites.

• Coordinate network engineers, technical teams, third-party suppliers and stakeholders.

• Oversee project plans, milestones, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies.

• Manage the replacement and upgrade of LAN infrastructure, including switches and associated network equipment.

• Coordinate site surveys, installations, testing, cutovers and post-implementation support.

• Ensure network changes are carefully planned to minimise disruption to critical NHS services.

• Provide regular progress reports to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience delivering network infrastructure or LAN Refresh projects.

• Previous NHS experience is essential, with an understanding of healthcare IT environments.

• Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement.

• Experience coordinating technical teams, suppliers and infrastructure deployments across multiple sites.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities within a live operational environment.
